Job Requirements
- Completion of all required training
- ability to work AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts
- ability to learn, follow and maintain sale processes
- strong knowledge of sales techniques with negotiation and closing skills
- ability to perform duties as assigned to meet business needs
- patience and empathy
- willingness to provide excellent guest service
- strong problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years experience in catering sales and service with social and corporate groups
- experience in weddings and social market
- strong time management skills
- solid knowledge of hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- proven ability to sell and work in a high volume, time sensitive environment
- good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- ability to learn and operate hotel computer systems
- Delphi FDC experience desired
- experience within a hotel or resort environment
Job Duties
- Sell and create memorable experiences for guests
- serve as the key liaison between clients and hotel
- execute and supervise meeting and event banquet functions and hotel room blocks
- respond promptly to inquiries and conduct site visits
- provide detailed event orders, diagrams, and resumes for social and corporate groups
- focus on Weddings and Social Market
- provide exceptional service for maximum re-booking and upsell
