Job Requirements
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years experience in catering sales and service with social and corporate groups, weddings, and social market
- strong time management skills
- ability to work under pressure
- solid knowledge of hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- ability to work in high volume, time sensitive environment
- ability to follow sales processes to maximize revenue and maintain operating criteria
- completion of all required training
- ability to negotiate and close sales
- good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn hotel computer systems
- Delphi FDC experience desired
- ability to work morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- performs other duties as assigned
- experience within a hotel or resort environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in catering sales and service with social and corporate groups
- strong knowledge of hotel service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong time management skills
- proven ability to work under pressure with grace
- skills in negotiation and closing sales
- good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Delphi FDC experience desired
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to inquiries
- conduct site visits
- provide detailed event orders, diagrams, and resumes for social and corporate groups
- manage execution and supervision of meeting and event banquet functions
- coordinate hotel room blocks
- focus on Weddings and Social Market
- provide exceptional service to achieve maximum re-booking and upsell for profitability
