  • High school diploma

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Critical thinking and ability to anticipate needs
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in other office support service areas for backup support and assume additional responsibilities and projects when necessary
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Catering coordination experience within a corporate environment supporting small to large-scale catering management

Job Duties

  • Consulting and driving the catering process on behalf of the customer or event planner, providing expertise, support, and guidance in areas such as ordering and vendor management, assisting with logistical planning and set-up, and day-of delivery
  • Supporting day-of execution, including coordination with team and vendors to ensure accuracy and delivery of orders, addressing last-minute issues or needs, and effective set-up and removal
  • Managing and fostering relationships with the team, vendors, and other key stakeholders through effective communications, collaboration, and engagement, to deliver a best-in-class catering experience
  • Ensuring an excellent working knowledge of department services, catering services, vendor capabilities, meeting space, and building and Deloitte protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Performing post-event duties such as invoice management, expense processing, and providing feedback to vendors to improve processes
