Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of relevant experience in related field
- CRT-accredited Food Protection Manager certification
- CFP - ANSI National Accreditation Board certification within 90 days
- Vocational or technical courses in food preparation preferred
- Two years of relevant experience in food preparation within a healthcare facility preferred
- One year of relevant supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties
- Assist with all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation, and service for high-profile events
- Act as kitchen lead in the absence of the Cook Lead, overseeing staff and daily operations
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Coordinate with event teams to ensure smooth service and presentation
- Assist in training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence
- Communicate effectively with team members, event leads, and management
- Model Corewell Health's mission, vision, and values in all interactions
