Job Requirements

  • minimum 4 years of bar management experience
  • experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality venue
  • strong knowledge of inventory control, ordering, and scheduling
  • leadership ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff
  • proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • understanding of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
  • ability to manage financial tracking and cost control
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, including closing shifts

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 4 years of bar management experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality venue
  • strong operational background including inventory control, ordering, and scheduling
  • proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • deep understanding of liquor laws, compliance, and responsible alcohol service
  • ability to analyze financials, track performance, and implement cost-effective practices
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays with closing shifts

Job Duties

  • assist the general manager in all aspects of daily restaurant operations
  • oversee the bar program, ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and guest experience
  • manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for bar and beverage operations
  • create and maintain accurate staff schedules that align with business demands and labor budgets
  • train and mentor bartenders and FOH staff to uphold service and safety standards
  • monitor bar cleanliness, organization, and compliance with ABC and health department regulations
  • partner with culinary and service teams to execute flawless operations during peak shifts and special events
  • handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • support recruitment, onboarding, and continued staff development
  • ensure alignment with company standards, procedures, and operational goals
