Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of bar management experience in an upscale or high-volume environment
- Strong operational knowledge of scheduling, ordering, inventory management, and cost control
- Hands-on leadership skills with attention to detail
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff
- Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background check
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of bar management experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality venue
- Strong operational background including inventory control, ordering, and scheduling
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Deep understanding of liquor laws, compliance, and responsible alcohol service
- Ability to analyze financials, track performance, and implement cost-effective practices
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays with capability to work closing shifts
Job Duties
- Assist the general manager in all aspects of daily restaurant operations
- Oversee the bar program ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and guest experience
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for bar and beverage operations
- Create and maintain accurate staff schedules that align with business demands and labor budgets
- Train and mentor bartenders and front-of-house staff to uphold service and safety standards
- Monitor bar cleanliness, organization, and compliance with ABC and health department regulations
- Partner with culinary and service teams to execute flawless operations during peak shifts and special events
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continued staff development
- Ensure alignment with company standards, procedures, and operational goals
