Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an agriculture field, business, or 5+ years of management-level meat experience
- 3-5 years experience working with manufacturing processes for prepared meats or fresh meats
- Preferred experience in beef
- Detail-oriented team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Job Duties
- Manages beef inventory to balance order fulfillment and monitor dated product
- Communicate production plans and schedules with VP of Beef, Sales, Logistics, and Support Teams
- Communicates with sales and marketing regarding inventory levels, code date problems, shortages, and unique production requirements such as holiday schedules and plant inspections
- Evaluate sales, forecasts, and orders to adjust production as needed
- Weekly and monthly pricing review and analysis
- Support business development efforts across all channels at the direction of VP of Beef
- Sell long/frozen inventory when applicable
- Provides coverage in scheduling beef production with harvest and fabrication plants, as well as co-packers
- Manage packing inventory at co-packers to ensure no disruption to production, including label inventory for grinds/case-ready
- Visits plants during operations to oversee grade, production, and troubleshoot issues that may arise on site
- Coordinates inbound raw material for scheduled production
- Manages files of beef product specifications, and manages/submits affidavits before harvest and fabrication
- Remotely based, with monthly travel to Denver office and/or plants
- Ability to travel for production oversight a minimum of 2 times per month
