Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory or managerial experience within a banquet department
  • Minimum of 5 years cooking experience
  • Previous experience managing a team under a collective bargaining agreement
  • High volume banquet experience
  • Computer and Microsoft Office literacy
  • Working knowledge of pastry
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Experience managing a team under a collective bargaining agreement
  • High volume banquet experience
  • Working knowledge of pastry

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations including meal preparation and production
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards
  • Comply with all safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Manage team member productivity and performance through supervision and training
  • Implement policies, procedures, cost controls, and profitability measures
  • Create and implement menu selections for banquet themes and special events
  • Monitor compliance with alcohol awareness standards
