Job Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in finance and accounting or related major
  • 1 years experience in finance and accounting or related professional area
  • OR master's degree in finance and accounting or related major
  • no work experience required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Proficiency with budgeting and forecasting tools
  • Understanding of accounting principles and compliance

Job Duties

  • Develops means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit, exploring new business opportunities
  • Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans
  • Compiles information, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales
  • Assists in the creation of the annual operating budget for the property
  • Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes
  • Communicates financial concepts clearly to stakeholders and drives desired behaviors
  • Leads and influences the finance and accounting team by providing clear accountability and support
