Job Requirements
- J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Bar exam passage and licensure in at least one jurisdiction
- At least 5 years of experience in legal education or legal practice
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and other constituent groups
- Demonstrated ability to function independently and in a team
- Demonstrated ability to provide rapid and empathetic responses to student inquiries and needs
- Strong interpersonal and research skills

Job Duties
- Build and execute a systemic academic support program for students in need of additional academic assistance
- Provide outreach to struggling students to create programmatic engagement and buy-in
- Work with faculty to ensure that programming compliments curricular instruction
- Assist with teaching assistant selection, training, and check-ins
- Build and execute a bar preparation support system for students
- Assist in instruction of bar exam preparation courses during academic year and summer
- Identify students in need of additional assistance and provide individualized tutoring
- Work with commercial vendors to track student progress and identify new commercial solutions for students
- Track bar passage data and assist with preparation of ABA and other statistical reports
- Provide individual advice to students on course selection to meet graduation, third-year trial practice, and concentration requirements
- Create and execute programming for large- and small-group advising
- Administer faculty mentoring group programming for first-year students
- Meet with individual students or groups of students to help them find solutions to problems
- Connect students in need of professional counseling with therapeutic resources
- Help new student organizations work with Student Leadership and Development to become Registered Student Organizations
- Coordinate and oversee student competitions and advocacy skills training initiatives
- Provide advice and training in university and law school policies to student organization leaders
- Help students work with Student Accessibility Services to gain access to needed classroom and exam accommodations
- Schedule and proctor final exams for students requiring accommodations
