Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- minimum 9 years of industry experience in aircraft systems engineering
- management or leadership experience
- strong technical expertise in aircraft systems
- ability to work with regulatory agencies
- excellent communication skills
- ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- authorized to work in the United States

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum 9 years in aircraft systems engineering with workforce management experience
- strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and components design
- ability to interface with manufacturers and regulatory agencies

Job Duties
- Prioritize systems engineering actions for Aircraft Systems Engineers
- guide and mentor Aircraft Systems Engineers providing technical support for 747/767/737/777 fleets
- manage Liaison Engineering Support Team to supplement 24/7 AOG technical support
- provide budgetary data on projects
- manage Heavy Maintenance and Conversion MROs repair documentation
- issue instructions and documents to support operations and aircraft return to service
- participate in Project Systems Team
- ensure FAR/AD/NPRM compliance for fleets
- manage review and response of Fleet team Idea Exchange
- participate in working groups
- develop and obtain approved and acceptable data for repairs and modifications
- update technical source documents
- support integration of new and operated aircraft
- liaise with manufacturers, MROs, regulatory personnel, and outside agencies
- evaluate federal regulations and service notifications
- develop product improvement modifications
- establish component repair specifications
- perform analysis of fleet technical issues
- submit recommendations for safety, reliability, and cost control improvements
- develop and refine standard analysis methods
- stay current with industry best practices
- increase efficiency and effectiveness
- reduce maintenance costs
- achieve on-time performance goals
- increase component Time Since Installed (TSI)
- organize and provide systems engineering documentation for modifications and repairs
- support multiple internal departments
- review and initiate maintenance program changes
- report on project status
- perform other duties as assigned
