Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5 to 7 years of accounting experience or similar role
- ability to work onsite in Kirkland, WA three days per week
- proficiency in advanced excel and financial modeling
- familiarity with ERP and financial systems
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- ability to pass a background check prior to start date
Job Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required
- 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, or a similar role
- demonstrated track record of increasing levels of responsibility, from managing small projects or individual contributions to owning large, complex initiatives
- strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, with advanced excel and financial modeling expertise
- familiarity with ERP and financial systems
- excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and delivering meaningful insights
- effective communicator and collaborator, able to influence stakeholders, translate financial data for non-financial audiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- high level of integrity, adaptability, and teamwork, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service
Job Duties
- Apply critical and analytical thinking to assess financial performance, explain variances, and strengthen accounting processes
- partner with business units to deliver financial insights, ensure compliance, and drive process and system improvements
- build, maintain, and refine financial models to support monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- support the Staff Accountant with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end close, while providing guidance if needed
- design, implement, and manage multi-entity transaction flows to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- ensure compliance and maintain accuracy and integrity across all accounting processes and financial reporting
