Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- minimum of 3 years accounting experience preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations
- strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- experience with financial reporting for multiple entities
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- accounting experience within hospitality, real estate, or multi-unit operations preferred
- strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- experience with multi-entity financial reporting
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- hospitality or hotel management company accounting experience preferred
- experience with multi-property financial oversight
- experience supporting new hotel development or acquisitions
Job Duties
- Oversee internal controls and daily accounting processes
- participate in month-end and year-end close activities ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- provide financial oversight for a 14-property hotel portfolio ensuring consistency in accounting practices and reporting
- review financial performance with property leadership to identify operational improvements
- manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounting functions
- develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy
