  • College degree preferred but will consider equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in event management in the AV, hotel, or related field
  • Experience in event management and strong project leadership experience

Job Duties

  • Maintain a business relationship with existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events for clients, ensuring all aspects meet client objectives and organizational standards
  • Manage client relationships, develop event strategies, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver successful events
  • Responsible for budget management, contract negotiations, and post-event analysis
  • Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Provide estimated budgets that support the client's vision while maintaining a profitability threshold of 45% for each event
  • Work to reach the annual revenue performance goals established by INSPIRE
  • Establish credit accounts for events invoicing in excess of $10,000
  • Work with Accounts Receivable on invoicing
  • Create credit memos when appropriate
  • Complete a job cost on all events invoicing over $5,000 pre-tax
