Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and follow instructions typically acquired through 9 to 11 years of schooling
- Minimum six months of related experience required
- Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license and comply with city driving policies
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where applicable
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotations
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks including lifting over 80 pounds, climbing, and bending
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely
- Must be able to pass drug testing and physical examination
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral or written instructions
- Six months of related experience in custodial or cleaning services
- Experience operating commercial cleaning machinery
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to pass background check
- Valid Texas Class C driver’s license
- Preference given for hard floor care or custodial experience
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Certification related to cleaning or maintenance is advantageous
Job Duties
- Perform commercial janitorial services including cleaning multi-unit and single restrooms, trash removal, hard surface floor cleaning, window cleaning, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, polishers, buffers, and two-way radios
- Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs to structures, facilities, and equipment
- Move and unload furniture as needed
- May operate vehicles to and from work locations
- Respond proactively to guest concerns and maintain excellent customer service
- Perform emergency biohazard cleaning and other miscellaneous assignments as required
