Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract
- Six months of related experience
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to obtain all required security badge access including CBP access within six months of hire
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects over 80 pounds, bend, climb steps, and work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow oral and basic written instructions
- Availability for shift work including rotation, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract
- Six months of related experience
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Experience in hard floor care maintenance or custodial work is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Certification related to custodial and maintenance skills is advantageous
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Perform commercial janitorial services by cleaning restrooms, trash removal, cleaning hard surface floors, window cleaning, vacuuming, shampooing carpeted areas, high dusting, emergency response biohazard cleaning services
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, machines, and tools including scrubbing and polishing floors, stripping and sealing floors, steam cleaning furniture, and operating two-way radios
- Monitor inventory control of cleaning supplies
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs to structures, facilities, and equipment including housekeeping activities, furniture moving, and unloading
- May operate vehicles to and from work locations
- Perform additional miscellaneous assignments as required
- Ensure compliance with airport and security regulations including obtaining required badge access
