Job Requirements

Be 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
have retail or customer service experience
be able to operate register, calculator and scanner equipment
be dependable with flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
have good communication skills
be able to lift up to 30 pounds
be able to move grocery carts with force up to 35 pounds
have strong attention to detail
be proficient in cash handling and math skills

Job Qualifications

Be 18 years of age or older
have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
have previous retail, customer service, or sales experience preferably 1-2 years cashier experience
possess a positive attitude and ability to interact positively with customers
be able to operate front end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators
be dependable and able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
have good communication skills and ability to work in a team
be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
be able to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 pounds
be attentive to detail and proficient in cash handling and mathematics

Job Duties

Oversee self-checkout units ensuring prompt and friendly service
assist customers with scanning, weighing, bagging and payment
serve multiple customers at once and anticipate issues
answer questions and resolve scanning, weighing or payment problems
monitor scanning accuracy
invite customers to use self-checkout lanes especially during lines
maintain clean and orderly self-checkout areas
thank customers as they leave the area
