Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift carry and move grocery products and carts
- Proficient with cash handling and basic math
- Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in retail customer service or sales environment preferred
- 1-2 years of cashier experience preferred
- Have a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills
- Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers calculators and scanners
- Dependable and flexible to work nights weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
- Ability to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
Job Duties
- Oversee self-checkout units ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- Assist customers with scanning weighing bagging and payment to ensure a smooth process
- Serve multiple customers at once and anticipate issues proactively
- Answer customer questions and resolve scanning weighing and payment issues
- Monitor scanning activity to ensure accuracy
- Invite customers to use self-checkout lanes especially during busy times
- Maintain a clean and orderly self-checkout area
- Thank customers as they leave the self-checkout area
