Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
at least 2 years of experience in a similar public-facing role
ability to provide legible communication
ability to compute basic arithmetic
capability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
ability to prioritize and organize tasks
willingness to follow directions thoroughly
ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
capability to work cohesively as part of a team
ability to work with minimal supervision
maintain confidentiality of guest information
strong telephone communication skills with proper grammar
possession of Food Handler and Responsible Vendor Certificate as mandated by the District of Columbia
physical ability to exert effort in transporting up to 20 pounds
ability to endure various physical movements during work
capacity to remain stationary for up to 4 hours
ability to stand, stoop, walk, use hands, talk, hear, and taste or smell
willingness to work in conditions with fumes, extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and loud noise levels
ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals
