Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to obtain a Coeur d'Alene tribal gaming license
- valid driver's license and good driving record
- minimum of one year experience within the Coeur d'Alene Casino security department
- three years previous security or law enforcement experience required
- must be 21 years or older
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to pass physical fitness test
- must complete all required security and emergency response training
- ability to type 40 WPM
- strong communication and organizational skills
- good attendance and work history
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a Coeur d'Alene tribal gaming license
- associate's degree in law enforcement or related field or equivalent work experience
- minimum 1 year within the security department of Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel
- three years previous security or law enforcement experience required, four years preferred
- valid driver's license with good driving record
- certification in handcuffing, defensive tactics, OC (pepper spray), and PATH techniques preferred or obtained within six months of hire
- previous customer service experience required
- one-year previous leadership experience required
- previous interviewing and hiring experience preferred
- must be 21 years or older
- proficient with Microsoft Office
- good work history and attendance
- highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of PowerPoint and Access preferred
- ability to type 40 WPM
- ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- teamwork skills with leadership and coaching ability

Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise movements and operations of security officers on patrol
- patrol, inspect, and secure property to protect assets and safety
- provide general office support including clerical activities and related tasks
- assist the Security Operations Manager in supervising security staff and delegating assignments
- maintain accurate departmental records, logs, and files
- allocate shift schedules, rotations, patrols, and breaks for security staff
- maintain and manage Keywatch and Keypro system including cleaning and user management
- know and enforce evacuation plans and duties as Evacuation Director
- uphold and enforce all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- report all incidents occurring on shift in writing to Security Operations Manager
- maintain order by providing presence throughout the property
- stay informed of incidents and take appropriate actions
- maintain knowledge of fire and security systems
- perform tape reviews in Surveillance office
- assist in developing training curriculum and manuals
- become certified trainer and conduct training sessions
- keep security officers updated with new procedures and regulations
- manage a team of security officers and support during incidents
- perform department personnel duties coordinating with HR
- manage Paycom file maintenance and job coding
- coordinate new hire interviews and personnel training
- coordinate department activities, meetings, and training workshops
- supervise department uniform plan and inventory control
- order requisitions and equipment as needed
- perform other duties and projects assigned by Security Director
