Job Qualifications

- Fluency in English verbal and non-verbal communication
- Ability to provide legible communication and directions
- Basic mathematical calculation skills
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in performing job functions
- Strong prioritization, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Ability to remain calm and clear thinking during problem resolution
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly
- Understanding of guest service needs
- Ability to work cohesively with a team
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality
- Flexible to work on weekends and holidays
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred
- Familiarity with computers and property management systems
- Previous guest relations training
- Certification in alcohol awareness program
- Knowledge of local laws, investigative methods, and fire safety
- CPR and first aid certification
- Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, Creole, or Russian preferred
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Ability to operate company vehicles
Job Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety for guests and employees
- Minimize opportunities for loss or damage by anticipating and addressing potential problems
- Respond promptly to disturbances, prohibited conduct, and emergency situations
- Supervise all security officers and dispatchers to ensure effective security operations
- Collaborate with internal hotel staff and external agencies such as police and fire departments
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest information and hotel data
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and local laws
