Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- prior security, law enforcement, or military experience required
- minimum 3 years security experience preferred
- at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- 1 year experience in hospitality or tourism
- must be 18 years or older (21 to operate company vehicles)
- available to work any shift
- willing to work most weekends and some holidays
- computer experience with Outlook, MS Office
- ability to administer CPR and First Aid
- physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform tasks in various weather conditions
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
- at least 3 years of experience in security
- minimum 1 year supervisory experience
- 1 year experience in hospitality or tourism preferred
- computer proficiency including Outlook, MS Office, and payroll or report programs
- ability to administer CPR and First Aid
- strong knowledge of building layout and local area
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Assist Security Manager with daily paperwork review and follow up
- complete inspections of security equipment for operational status
- perform foot patrols of interior and perimeter to identify potential security and safety risks
- maintain order in the lodge and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively
- observe monitors for unusual activity and report alarms
- complete daily and incident reports
- administer CPR and First Aid as needed
- supervise shift operations and investigations until completion
- promote a positive guest experience
- perform supportive functions of a Security Officer
- make recommendations regarding staffing and disciplinary actions
- maintain key issuance procedures using KeyWatcher and Salto systems
- maintain RedBeam system for property issuance
- operate the security department in Security Manager’s absence
- perform other duties as assigned by the Security Manager
