Job Requirements

  • Two to five years’ experience as a security guard or law enforcement agent
  • 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Valid Racing License
  • Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness
  • Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of shift

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers
  • Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • Development of staff, evaluating and training by designing training programs
  • Assist with interviewing and selection
  • Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift
  • Meet with directors and managers as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
