Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience in military, law enforcement, corrections, or private security
- valid driver’s license
- state unarmed security officer license
- ability to successfully complete criminal background investigation
- drug screening
- post-offer physical evaluation
- strong communication skills
- ability to lead and train others
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and evenings
- physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- ability to complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical evaluation
- previous supervisory experience
- knowledge of security services and post order development
- ability to develop and maintain training programs
- advanced computer skills and ability to learn proprietary client software
Job Duties
- Coordinate security operations at the job site under the direction of the Security Captain
- ensure all required paperwork is completed by the end of the shift and turned in to the Captain
- apply knowledge of physical protection techniques for property, facilities, and personnel against trespassers, sabotage, vandalism, theft, fire, and accidents
- write operational and administrative reports, providing detailed and accurate accounts of incidents or events
- ensure proper maintenance and use of all assigned equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and gear, reporting any deficiencies
- schedule personnel and coordinate staffing adjustments to meet manpower requirements
- supervise on-the-job training and provide direct instruction to security officers, ensuring compliance with client and DUS training programs
- maintain performance standards by example and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline as necessary
- evaluate officers’ reports and duties to optimize performance
- assist with emergency response activities
- maintain composure in stressful or emergency situations
- promote a respectful and professional workplace culture free of harassment
- ensure adherence to company and site-specific safety programs
- provide backup support for personnel as needed
- safely operate motor vehicles in various conditions
- respond to urgent matters on weekends and evenings
- maintain alertness and safety at all times
- understand Security Captain’s administrative duties and assume responsibilities in their absence
- perform other duties as required
