Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Pass a drug screen as permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements as per state and local laws, if applicable
  • Valid driver's license for driving positions only
  • Prior receptionist experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year prior security experience
  • Prior experience as a receptionist
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to handle inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Observational skills to detect signs of intrusion and unusual activity
  • Knowledge of security and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving skills
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
  • Observe persons entering and exiting the office to protect employees and assets
  • Ensure correct sign-in procedures and assign appropriate badges with compliance codes
  • Account for all temporary and visitor badges by logging, auditing, and submitting monthly inventories
  • Mitigate unauthorized intrusions and escort visitors as necessary
  • Monitor visible and audible alarms
  • Ensure all doors are secured and in optimal condition
  • Submit daily activity reports outlining critical events, office needs, and relevant updates to leadership
