Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Consent to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Obtain licensing requirements according to state and/or local laws before employment, if applicable
  • Hold a valid driver's license for driving positions only

Job Duties

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff members at the front desk in a healthcare location, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
  • Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies and procedures
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs, as well as any security-related incidents or unusual activities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed to support security-related functions at the location
  • Follow all Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior at the front desk area
