Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control or badge experience is preferred
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Job Duties
- Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner at the front desk of the location
- Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following all site protocols
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies set by Allied Universal and the location
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the site
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, addressing inquiries and/or concerns related to access and security-related matters
- Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to company and site procedures
