Job Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located
- Willingness to undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to pass a drug screen as permitted by law
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
- Demonstrate reliability, integrity, and professionalism at all times
- Ability to remain calm and problem solve in emergency situations
- Valid driver’s license for driving post
- Previous experience in security, especially in food and beverage or similar industries, is preferred
- Knowledge of alarm panel systems and access control or badge systems is preferred
Job Duties
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access
- Document and report any unusual observations, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns according to Allied Universal protocols
- Collaborate with site personnel to help to deter disruptions to operations and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors
