Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- authorized to work in the U.S.
- three to six years of security experience
- 21 or older
- baton permit
- OC spray permit
- handcuff permit
- ability to pass extensive screening process
- must submit updated security resume
- availability to work Saturdays to Mondays from 5:00pm to 2:00am
- physical ability to stand and walk entire shift
- first aid certification preferred
- military or law enforcement experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Have a state security license and complete 32-hour BSIS security training
- provide documentation of high school diploma or GED
- be authorized to work in the U.S.
- have three to six years of security experience
- be 21 or older
- possess baton permit
- possess OC spray permit
- possess handcuff permit
- submit an up-to-date security resume
- have current or former military or law enforcement experience preferred
- ability to pass an extensive screening process
- first aid certification is an asset
- ability to stand and walk for entire shift
Job Duties
- Observe and survey the area and provide reporting on activity at assigned location
- work indoor and outdoor in a variable environment
- provide rapid response in critical situations
- read and write detailed reports
- enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards
- patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
- react quickly to threats or incidents
- detain and search individuals
- document incidents and actions taken
- respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
