Job Requirements
- Must have a current State of Georgia driver's license with a good driving history
- Must obtain certification in National Safety Council Defensive Driving within one year of employment
- Must obtain American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification within one year of employment
- Must obtain certification in International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security within one year
- Must obtain Defensive Tactics certification and recertify annually
- Must obtain ASP Tactical Baton and OC Pepper Spray certification within one year
- Must be mentally alert, socially responsive, intellectually honest, and morally sound
- Must maintain a professional appearance, language, attitude, and style of behavior
- Must be able to work part-time
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Minimum of one year of relevant security, police, or military experience

Job Duties
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors
- Manage safe traffic flow in the Emergency Center area
- Support valet services operations
- Monitor premises for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
- Enforce hospital security policies and procedures
- Maintain professional behavior and appearance while on duty
