Job Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to drug screening as permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Have a valid driver's license
- Security Professional Guard Card preferred
- Alarm panel experience preferred
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience is an asset
Job Duties
- Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, including areas where food and beverage operations are conducted, to help to deter unwanted activity
- Monitor entry and exit points, observing for any unusual behavior and/or unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Document and report incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and enforce security-related policies as required
