Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related security field preferred
- Flexible availability including long hours
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Ability to climb stairs and run
- Capable of physically deterring threats
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen and clarify guest and employee concerns
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative and attention to service
- Maintain compliance with hotel standards
- Maintain high personal grooming and uniform standards
- Regular attendance as required by hotel operations

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related security field preferred
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Job Duties
- Use proper radio etiquette at all times
- Maintain visual contact with the front desk and front door by staying in the lobby when not on property walks
- Maintain and review daily activity log
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and employee incidents
- Hold briefing with guest services staff at shift changes
- Check IDs of visitors and employees as necessary
- Access secured areas for authorized personnel
- Maintain awareness of legal limitations and local ordinances
- Assist guests to their rooms and with entry as per hotel standards
- Assist during medical emergencies
- Respond to emergency situations including medical, security, and guest complaints
- Investigate assault complaints
- Assist outside agencies as needed
- Respond to altercations and conduct investigations
- Monitor hotel locking systems and TV cameras
- Administer First Aid and CPR
- Challenge suspicious persons
- Check for safety hazards
- Complete incident and accident reports
- Monitor employee ingress and egress
- Conduct investigations related to property loss, accidents, and crimes
- Document all deliveries
- Patrol areas to ensure security and absence of unauthorized persons
- Provide escorts on request
- Issue and inventory security equipment daily
