Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
- minimum of 2 years or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
- ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
- must be able to lift, push, reach for, carry 30 plus pounds frequently
- CPR certification and driver's license required
- alcohol servers license preferred
- strong knowledge of security software and MS office preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication
- ability to multitask

Job Duties
- Work under direction of the regional director of security
- maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- communicate regularly with leadership regarding security job assignments and required timeframe for proper workflow on property
- follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations policies
- reduce the opportunity for the commission of crimes through preventive patrol and high visibility of security throughout premises
- watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on premises
- resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- address all complaints from guests and debrief with team members in person whenever possible
- promote and preserve peace on premises to assure comfortable and non-threatening environment for guests and employees
- aid or seek aid for individuals in danger of physical harm or in need of medical attention
- respond to emergencies as prescribed in emergency service procedures
- patrol all areas of property and assist guests with room access, valet, bell services and housekeeping if required during shift
- input all written reports and activity summaries of incidents while adhering to company confidentiality guidelines
- help assure compliance with liquor laws
- assist in developing and presenting security related programs
- willingness to be cross trained to assist at sister properties
- perform other duties consistent with functions of position as assigned
