Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to drug screening as permitted by law
- Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws
- Valid driver’s license for driving positions only
- Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Guard card or license preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Job Duties
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk
- Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and emergency personnel as needed
- Support emergency response activities as appropriate to the front desk post
- Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and observation at the front desk
- Follow instructions from Allied Universal and site management regarding security-related operations and protocols
