Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- Able to pass a drug screen as permitted by law
- Licensing requirements may be required before employment based on state or local laws
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
- Ability to work weekend shifts as scheduled
- Reliable with the ability to adapt to different post assignments
Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or stressful situations
- Basic computer skills to use scheduling and reporting tools
- Willingness to undergo site-specific training
- Commitment to integrity, teamwork, and a professional work ethic
- Interest in gaining broad experience and growth within the company
Job Duties
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
- Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing badges as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information about building policies
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel
