Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Willingness to undergo drug screening as permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
  • Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Demonstrated reliability and integrity
  • Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
  • Basic knowledge of security protocols and procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, staff, and patients at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity and security-related incidents at the front desk
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with emergency personnel and guiding individuals as needed
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior through professional presence and observation at the front desk
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals, including staff, visitors, and management, to address inquiries and provide assistance
