Job Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Ability to maintain detailed logs and reports
- Familiarity with access control and visitor screening processes
Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific procedures
- Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry or activity
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and/or any security-related incidents as required by the location
- Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and/or emergency responders as needed
- Support emergency response activities by coordinating with appropriate personnel and following established protocols
- Remain alert and attentive at the front desk, observing for any unusual or suspicious behavior and reporting to appropriate contacts
