Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Consideration of applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws
  • Subject to drug screen as permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver's license required for driving positions only

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and handle incidents professionally and effectively
  • Experience with access control systems or visitor management is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining logs and records
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a technology, media, or telecommunications location
  • Monitor access control, check credentials, and assist with visitor management at the front desk
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site protocols
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals entering or exiting the premises
  • Maintain logs and records of front desk activities, including incident reports and visitor logs, as required by the site
  • Support emergency response activities at the front desk as needed, following company and site-specific protocols
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities by remaining attentive to the front desk environment and reporting irregularities to supervisory staff
