Job Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years’ law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience
  • Have a concealed carry weapons permit
  • Have CPO certification, which may be completed post hire
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Willing to undergo a drug screen as permitted by law
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local regulations
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Control access at the reception area by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out logs, issuing temporary badges, and directing authorized visitors to the appropriate location
  • Monitor lobby activity, entry points, and surveillance systems as assigned, and promptly report suspicious or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documentation, and notifications to appropriate parties
  • Complete detailed reports, maintain shift activity logs, and support security-related audits and compliance needs typical of a financial services location
