Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws
- subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- valid driver's license for driving positions only
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in security or customer service preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- basic computer proficiency
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- reliable and punctual
- problem-solving skills
- valid state-mandated security guard license or eligible to obtain
Job Duties
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate
- respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines
- conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while monitoring for unusual activity and/or conditions that could require follow-up
- maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities
- collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary
- ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- participate in ongoing training and development programs
