Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
- Minimum of 2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPR certification required
- Valid Driver's license required
- Alcohol servers license preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours or more
- Must be able to lift, push, reach for, or carry 30 or more pounds frequently
- Strong knowledge of security software and MS Office preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Work under direction of the Regional Director of Security
- Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- Communicate regularly with leadership regarding security job assignments and required timeframe
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations policies
- Reduce opportunity for crimes through thorough preventive patrol and high visibility
- Watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on premises
- Resourcefully solve issues and control problematic situations
- Address all complaints from guests and debrief with team members
- Promote and preserve peace to assure a comfortable and non-threatening environment
- Aid or seek aid for individuals in danger of harm or in need of medical attention
- Respond to emergencies as prescribed in Emergency Service Procedures
- Patrol all areas of property and assist guests with room access, valet, bell services and housekeeping
- Input written reports and activity summaries adhering to confidentiality guidelines
- Help assure compliance with liquor laws
- Assist in developing and presenting security related programs
- Willingness to be cross trained at sister properties
- Perform other duties as assigned consistent with position functions
