Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
  • Minimum of 2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPR certification required
  • Valid Driver's license required
  • Alcohol servers license preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Ability to work on feet for 8 hours or more
  • Must be able to lift, push, reach for, or carry 30 or more pounds frequently
  • Strong knowledge of security software and MS Office preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Work under direction of the Regional Director of Security
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding security job assignments and required timeframe
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations policies
  • Reduce opportunity for crimes through thorough preventive patrol and high visibility
  • Watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on premises
  • Resourcefully solve issues and control problematic situations
  • Address all complaints from guests and debrief with team members
  • Promote and preserve peace to assure a comfortable and non-threatening environment
  • Aid or seek aid for individuals in danger of harm or in need of medical attention
  • Respond to emergencies as prescribed in Emergency Service Procedures
  • Patrol all areas of property and assist guests with room access, valet, bell services and housekeeping
  • Input written reports and activity summaries adhering to confidentiality guidelines
  • Help assure compliance with liquor laws
  • Assist in developing and presenting security related programs
  • Willingness to be cross trained at sister properties
  • Perform other duties as assigned consistent with position functions
