Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 year or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
  • CPR Certification
  • Driver's License
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
  • Must be able to lift, push, reach for, carry 30 plus pounds frequently
  • Strong knowledge of security software and MS Office preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Work under direction of the Regional Director of Security
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding security job assignments and required timeframe for workflow
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations policies
  • Reduce opportunity for crimes through preventive patrols and high visibility
  • Watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities on premises
  • Resourcefully solve issues and seize control of problematic situations
  • Address all guest complaints and debrief with team members
  • Promote and preserve peace to assure a comfortable environment
  • Aid or seek aid for individuals in danger or needing medical attention
  • Respond to emergencies as prescribed in emergency procedures
  • Patrol all areas and assist guests with room access, valet, bell services and housekeeping
  • Input written reports and incident summaries adhering to confidentiality
  • Help assure compliance with liquor laws
  • Assist in developing security related programs
  • Willingness to be cross trained at sister properties
  • Perform other duties consistent with this position as needed
