Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One year or more experience in related position
- Valid California driver’s license and ability to drive stick shift
- Guard card preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified preferred
- Ability to communicate in English
- Knowledge of guest services and hotel operations
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Physical fitness for continuous walking, standing, bending and lifting
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with variable shift schedules
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- One to two years of related security or hospitality experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Guard card and CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Working knowledge of hotel services, policies, and operations
- Strong interpersonal skills with patience and tact
- Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling and walking
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds safely
- Capacity to work in varying temperature conditions
Job Duties
- Conduct routine patrols of hotel property ensuring safety and security of guests
- Perform protective and enforcement functions during emergencies and disturbances
- Monitor hotel interior, exterior, parking lots, and public areas on foot patrol
- Prepare routine security logs and incident reports notifying management as needed
- Escort guests to parking areas and assist with luggage
- Assist with housekeeping duties during overnight shifts
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel facilities and operations
