Job Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Ability to be insured by the company’s insurance carrier
  • Must successfully complete first aid/CPR training
  • Must obtain Title 31 certification
  • Must adhere to Minimum Internal Control Standards 25 CFR 542

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in casino security, hospitality security, law enforcement, or military (recommended)
  • OSHA 10-hour certification (recommended)
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to apply common sense and quickly assess issues
  • Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission
  • Valid California Driver's license
  • RBS certification
  • Title 31 certification
  • First aid/CPR training completion

Job Duties

  • Conduct routine patrols of casino floor, hotel, parking areas, event venues, and back-of-house areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unsafe conditions
  • Enforce property rules, gaming regulations, and company policies professionally and consistently
  • Monitor surveillance feeds and alarm systems and report suspicious activity
  • Control access to restricted areas including credential verification and bag/backpack enforcement
  • Respond to disturbances, guest complaints, trespassers, and policy violations using de-escalation techniques
  • Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and safety documentation
  • Preserve evidence and maintain chain-of-custody procedures
  • Communicate critical incidents to supervisors and management promptly
  • Provide courteous, professional assistance to guests and team members
  • Serve as a visible presence promoting safety, confidence, and positive guest experience
  • Handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Maintain confidentiality of security, safety, and guest information
  • Learn and promote marketing promotions
  • Conduct shuttle transport
  • Provide security for events
  • Adhere to Minimum Internal Control Standards 25 CFR 542
