Job Requirements

  • Full availability including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred associate degree or higher
  • Experience as a first responder preferred
  • Hospitality security guard/officer experience preferred
  • High-end customer service experience preferred
  • Military basic training completion preferred
  • Loss prevention or plain clothes operative experience preferred
  • Experience in high-pressure situations such as EMT, firefighter, or flight attendant preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid state security credentials or licenses
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-groomed appearance
  • Minimum of two years experience in a position with direct guest contact
  • Strong verbal, written, and technology skills
  • Keyboarding skills of 25 WPM
  • Investigation skills
  • Ability to perform general clerical duties using Microsoft Office and site-specific programs
  • Ability to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in extreme temperatures
  • Strong observation skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push or pull up to 150 lbs
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

Job Duties

  • Perform protective and enforcement functions in a courteous and professional manner
  • Respond as a first responder with training in infant, child, and adult CPR, AED use, Stop the Bleed, and fire extinguisher procedures
  • Conduct interior and exterior restaurant patrols to identify undesirable conditions
  • Evaluate situations and make logical decisions while maintaining a calm demeanor
  • Conduct investigations including scene evaluation, interviewing complainants and witnesses, and involving appropriate personnel
  • Document incidents and write clear reports
  • Maintain order while attending to guests, staff, and vendors
  • Assist in safety controls for performance aspects within the venue
  • Coordinate response to emergencies such as fire alarms, safety hazards, and threats to life or property
  • Handle violations of restaurant policy, civil laws, and undesired conduct
  • Prioritize and respond to security and emergency situations timely
  • Provide assistance and accurate information to guests, staff, and vendors
  • Manage lost and found property, including recording and securing items and responding to inquiries
  • Escort staff and guests to parking lots as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
