Job Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Provide documentation of high school diploma or GED
  • Possess a driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Successfully pass an extensive screening process
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Excellent eyesight and ability to maintain focus
  • Proficient with technology
  • Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32-hour BSIS security training
  • Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
  • Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
  • Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
  • Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies
  • Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property
