Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred
- Must have no criminal record
- Experience in military, industrial security, law enforcement, emergency services, or corrections considered
- Must be customer service oriented
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be physically and mentally able to assist with the control of violent and/or disruptive patients, visitors and staff
- Must have full visual, audio, and vocal acuity
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Prior experience in hospital security, customer service, or healthcare environment preferred

Job Duties
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage the check-in and check-out process for staff, patients, and guests
- Answer phone calls, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity
- Control access to the facility by verifying identities and issuing visitor badges
- Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, documenting occurrences accurately
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
