Job Requirements
- Licensed security guard card required
- must be able to frequently lift, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs
- constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs
- and constantly walk, stand for long periods, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
- must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime
- must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent high school certification
- must be at least 18 years of age
- excellent customer service skills
- strong work ethic
- ability to work independently without direct supervision
- must be able to obtain credentials, as required, per airport, state or customs requirements
Job Duties
- Access control including inspection of identifications, vehicle decals, escort employees and screen visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry
- patrol premises, respond to security-related inquiries, and document concerns from tenants, employees, and the public
- prepare clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities
- report security incidents and document criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management of incidents and emergencies
- response to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts
- management and communication via radios and other security-related equipment
- performs additional duties as assigned, aligned with the skills and experience required for this role
