Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Security, military, and/or law enforcement experience of at least 3 years
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • DC Special Police Officer - Unarmed or DC Security Officer license
  • Pass extensive screening process
  • Basic phone and computer skills
  • Complete a 40 hour basic training course

Job Qualifications

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • Have exceptional customer service skills
  • Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills
  • Have security, military, and/or law enforcement experience of at least 3 years
  • Hold a DC Special Police Officer - Unarmed or DC Security Officer license
  • Be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law
  • Have CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Successfully complete a 40 hour basic training course

Job Duties

  • Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
  • Manage access control
  • Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
