Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in security or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to patrol and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for report writing

  • Previous experience in security or hospitality preferred
  • Strong observation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
  • Basic knowledge of safety and security protocols

Job Duties

  • Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
  • Respond to emergency situations including but not limited to safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
  • Promote safe work practices
  • Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
  • Write reports and ensure accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
